In three consecutive workshops for the beginner and intermediate ink painters, the instructor Yeachin Tsai will introduce the history and development of traditional Chinese calligraphy and ink painting, and the basis of required skills. Including: handling of the brush, materials, spirit and philosophy, plus some demonstration and hands-on practices. Anyone who is interested in the possibility of employing Chinese/Japanese brush techniques and enjoying a simple way of making specious, joyful Zen art is welcome.
