Chinese calligraphy: "Basic Goodness; Primordial Goodness" in semi-cursive style. Original work. Unframed. Basic goodness is a term coined by Tibetan spiritual teacher Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and is a core concept in his Shambhala terma. It is used both to discuss the experience of reality and also basic human nature.
Sumi ink on textured Chinese rice paper. 15" by 11.5". Signed with the seal of the artist: "Buddha's heart." The calligraphy itself is professionally double-mounted on another piece of thicker cotton paper (acid-free), so the surface is totally flattened. Ready to be put into a frame.
